Rugby Sevens Careers 26 — Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what data the mobile game Rugby Sevens Careers 26 (the “app”, available on Google Play and the App Store) handles, why, and the choices you have. The app is developed and published by Aurelien Girardot (“we”, “us”).
Summary: the game plays fully offline and has no accounts, no registration and no sign-in. We do not run our own servers. Personal data is processed by Google AdMob (to show ads), Google Play / Apple App Store billing (to process optional purchases) and Google Firebase (anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, which you can switch off), as described below.
1. Data we collect ourselves
The app requires no account, and we never collect your name, contacts, location or anything you type. We collect two kinds of anonymous data through Google Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics), a service of Google that processes it on our behalf:
- Usage statistics — which screens and modes are used and how far players get (for example: the tutorial step reached, a match started, finished or left early, a career created, how many days the game was played, how long screens take to load, whether an optional video offer was shown and accepted), with your device model, operating system, app version, country and a random app-instance identifier generated by Firebase. This tells us what to improve. It is not used to personalise ads and Firebase does not collect your advertising ID. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland it is sent only if you agreed to measurement in the consent form described in Section 3.
- Crash reports — when the app crashes: the technical state of the app at the time of the crash (stack trace, device model, operating system, app version, free memory and disk, and the last few screens visited). This is how we find and fix crashes.
You can switch either off at any time in Settings → Account (“Share anonymous usage stats”, “Send crash reports”). We use this data only to improve the game and never sell it. See Firebase's privacy information.
Your World Tour saves, settings and progress are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. (Android app backups are disabled for this app; on iOS your device backup may include the app's data according to your own device settings.)
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows a limited number of ads — optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for in-game rewards, and occasional interstitials between matches — served by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app may automatically collect:
- Advertising identifier of your device (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, where permitted);
- IP address, which can imply an approximate (city-level) location;
- Device and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, ad interaction events such as views and clicks).
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive it. For details see Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, and AdMob's ad-technology provider information.
3. Your advertising choices & consent
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad is requested, the app shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). If you decline personalised ads, ads are served in non-personalised (limited) mode, or not at all. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Account → Ad consent & privacy options inside the game (the row appears wherever a consent form applies to you); withdrawing consent stops the app requesting ads for the rest of that session and discards any ad it had already loaded.
- iOS: Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you refuse tracking; ads then remain non-personalised.
- US states with privacy laws (e.g. California, Virginia, Colorado): we do not sell your personal information. Ad personalisation by Google may count as “sharing”; you can opt out through the consent controls above or your device's advertising settings.
- Any device: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
4. In-app purchases
Optional purchases (coin packs, gem packs, the Starter Pack, the Celebration Bundle and Remove Ads) are processed entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment details. The app only receives an anonymous confirmation that a purchase succeeded, and records the unlocked content locally on your device. Purchases can be restored on the same store account via the in-game “Restore purchases” button (Settings → Account, and on the Store screen).
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and its store listings declare a target audience of 13 and older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help.
6. Data retention
Usage statistics are kept by Google Analytics for at most 14 months and crash reports by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, then deleted. Game data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google (Section 2) is retained under Google's retention policies.
7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. The most effective way to exercise these rights is through the switches in Settings → Account (usage statistics and crash reports, Section 1), the controls in Section 3 and Google's My Ad Center. Switching usage statistics or crash reports off stops their collection at once; to have data already sent deleted, contact us at the address below. You can also contact us at the address below and we will assist.
8. Security
All network traffic generated by the app's third-party SDKs (ads, billing, analytics and crash reports) is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). The app itself opens no other network connections.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting new categories of data (for example online multiplayer or cloud saves), we will update this policy first and change the effective date above.
