AFL 2026 — Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains what data the mobile game AFL 2026 (the “app”, available on Google Play and the App Store) handles, why, and the choices you have. The app is developed and published by Aurelien Girardot (“we”, “us”).
Summary: the game plays fully offline and has no accounts, no registration and no sign-in. We do not run our own servers and we do not receive or store your personal data ourselves. The only personal data processed by the app is processed by Google AdMob (to show ads) and Google Play / Apple App Store billing (to process optional purchases), as described below.
1. Data we collect ourselves
None. The app requires no account and sends no gameplay data to us. Your career saves, settings and progress — including any player name you type into the Player Career — are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. (Android app backups are disabled for this app; on iOS your device backup may include the app's data according to your own device settings.)
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows a limited number of ads — optional rewarded videos you choose to watch for in-game rewards, and occasional interstitials between matches — served by Google AdMob, a service of Google. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK inside the app may automatically collect:
- Advertising identifier of your device (Android Advertising ID / Apple IDFA, where permitted);
- IP address, which can imply an approximate (city-level) location;
- Device and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, ad interaction events such as views and clicks).
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's own privacy policy. We do not receive it. For details see Google's Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, and AdMob's ad-technology provider information.
3. Your advertising choices & consent
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad is requested, the app shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform). If you decline personalised ads, ads are served in non-personalised (limited) mode, or not at all. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Account → Ad consent & privacy options inside the game (the row appears wherever a consent form applies to you); withdrawing consent stops the app requesting ads for the rest of that session and discards any ad it had already loaded.
- iOS: Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt lets you refuse tracking; ads then remain non-personalised.
- US states with privacy laws (e.g. California, Virginia, Colorado): we do not sell your personal information. Ad personalisation by Google may count as “sharing”; you can opt out through the consent controls above or your device's advertising settings.
- Any device: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).
4. In-app purchases
Optional purchases (coin packs, gem packs, the Starter Pack, the Aspiration Bundle and Remove Ads) are processed entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment details. The app only receives an anonymous confirmation that a purchase succeeded, and records the unlocked content locally on your device. Purchases can be restored on the same store account via the in-game “Restore purchases” button (Settings → Account, and on the Store screen).
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and its store listings declare a target audience of 13 and older. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help.
6. Data retention
We retain nothing, because we collect nothing ourselves. Game data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google (Section 2) is retained under Google's retention policies.
7. Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the only personal data processing happens inside Google's advertising and billing services, the most effective way to exercise these rights is through the controls in Section 3 and through Google's My Ad Center. You can also contact us at the address below and we will assist.
8. Security
All network traffic generated by the app's third-party SDKs (ads, billing) is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). The app itself opens no other network connections.
9. Changes to this policy
If the app ever starts collecting new categories of data (for example online multiplayer or cloud saves), we will update this policy first and change the effective date above.
